Theology Single Honours Degree
Theology is not afraid to ask the big questions: Does God exist? Can God be known? Who am I? How should I live? What happens after I die? Our single hours BA in Theology explores answers to these questions in the life and work of Jesus Christ, as understood in the Bible and other early literature, and as interpreted through 2000 years of Christian thought and tradition. We study the work of different theologians and philosophers, and look at the experience of Christian communities over the centuries and in different continents today. Religious Studies Single Honours Degree Religious Studies is the study of religions, that is, people and their religious traditions, thoughts and constructions. This course will give you the tools to understand the nature of religion. Our Single Honours BA in Religion investigates a variety of religious traditions (e.g. Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism and also indigenous religions) in context and in dialogue, together with the social, ethical, philosophical and historical trends they represent. Additionally, ways of approaching the study of ‘religion’ as a complex category are also explored.
