Interfaith Conference 2011
Interfaith Day Conference
Leeds Trinity University College has developing links with different religious communities and interfaith organisations. This page details our interfaith activities.

Record of the Interfaith Conference, 30 March 2011

This conference aims to strengthen our connections with local religious groups and interfaith organisations, and enrich our lives with the philosophical and theological perspectives of our brothers and sisters of other faiths.

Based on the recent 2010 Catholic document 'Meeting God in Friend and Stranger',the inspiration for this conference stems from the catholic understanding and values that our university was built upon. Click here for more information about our Catholic Identity.

The day will include a range of talks, seminar style discussions and debates between a range of religious groups in the West Yorkshire area. As well as this, there will be opportunity for atendees to take part in a question and answer session, and for speakers to set up stalls to display leaflets, posters, works of art and religious texts. A must see for anybody interested in interfaith relations and perspectives!

Confirmed speakers include members of the Catholic, Sikh, and Baha'i faiths. David Jackson, the Leeds Catholic dioceases inter faith officer, will be kicking off the day as Guest speaker.
