Placements are valuable because they give you the opportunity to gain experience of working in a career field which you wish to follow after graduation.
The placement involves undertaking a programme of work or a project for the host organisation. This then gives you the opportunity to develop your existing skills and apply the knowledge you are developing in University to the organisation you are working with.
The placement is organised in conjunction with dedicated staff within the Employer Partnership Office. Examples of typical placements include:
