Media Interest

The cooking clubs have received some great media interest this term, October 2008. City of Leeds School were visited by BBC Radio Leeds, Radio Aire and The Wharfe Valley Times. The Media were thrilled to see such a wonderful programme in action.

Jamie Oliver and Mick the Miner

The Cooking Communities Team meets Jamie Oliver and Mick the Miner at the BBC Good Food Show

Mick the Miner visted Leeds Trinity University College on the 29th of January to carry out a 'Pass it On' cooking session.

Mick demonstrated Chicken and Posh Ham to around 40 students and staff from Leeds Trinity and Bradford University, as well as sixth formers from St Mary’s in Menston and Horsforth School.
