The Department of Psychology at Leeds Trinity prides itself on the quality of its research and its long-standing record of academic excellence.
A report by the national Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for higher education awarded the Department its top grade for teaching, learning, and assessment. We also have excellent facilities, including a number of dedicated psychology laboratories and observation centres.
You can study Psychology either as a Single Honours degree or in combination with Sport & Exercise. All the courses are taught by experienced academics and include a professional work placement scheme that is designed to give you vital vocational training that will add another level of practical understanding to your study of psychology.
Many of our psychology courses are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). The BPS is British Psychology’s professional body and our accredited courses confer eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership. This is the first step towards becoming a chartered psychologist.
