My current interest includes the teaching early reading and systematic synthetic phonics due to my involvement in the Leading Partners in Literacy Project.

I am a Governor of a C of E Primary School and Member of a Parent Teachers Association.

I have been a primary school teacher for 19 years, teaching in Teesside and Bradford spanning the 3-11 age range.

I am the ICT course tutor for the Early and Junior years (Primary Education), as well as the course leader for PGCE Primary ICT.

The majority of my teaching career has been spent at an inner city Leeds primary school, where I have held numerous posts of responsibility including Maths Subject Leader and Leading Maths Teacher, Key Stage Leader (both key stages), School Based Tutor and member of the Leeds University Management Committee.

I am Associate Principal Lecturer in Primary Education.

After qualifying to teach from Bradford College in 1990, I taught in several schools in Bradford, Harrogate and Leeds before taking up a Deputy Head post in an inner city Leeds school.

I was a primary school teacher and CPD tutor in Bradford before coming to Leeds Trinity in 1985! I was always passionate about teaching children to read hence my ongoing interest in literacy learning.

I'm a former teacher who has also worked as an advisor on Gifted and Talented Education.

I am the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tutor/course leader for early years ICT, teaching on the BA [QTS] Primary Education courses throughout the primary age phase.

I am a Associate Principal Lecturer at the Leeds Trinity department of Primary Education.
