Film, Television and the Media offer each of us access to a breadth of entertainment, art, social commentary and personal expression unparalleled in human history.

Film and TV Studies

Film Studies

Media

Television

Over the course of your three years at Leeds Trinity you will build up a professional body of work and an in-depth theoretical knowledge, as well as learn the skills of audio-visual production. Find out more about our degree in Television

Television Production {New for 2013}

When you study Television Production at Leeds Trinity, you'll get hands on practical experience in editing, camerawork, directing and presenting and develop which will allow you to work in television across a range of genres. Find out more about our degree in Television Production 

 

 

Our courses in Film, Television and Media offer a unique insight into the social and cultural dimensions of the contemporary media industries. Our courses in Television and Media also provide you with a thorough grounding in current production techniques.

Your programme of study will be put into a practical context through our Professional Work Placement  scheme. During the first two years of your course, you’ll have the chance to spend up to 12 weeks working in a TV, Film or Media related organisation. The placements are a perfect way to gain practical skills, improve your CV and build up contacts in the industry.

All our staff are passionate about their subject: we have staff who bring a considerable level of practical experience and expertise to the courses within a strong academic context. It is these many talents that enable us to offer this unique combination of informed academic study with practical relevance in the study of film, television and media.
