Film, Television and the Media offer each of us access to a breadth of entertainment, art, social commentary and personal expression unparalleled in human history.

BA (Single Honours) Film and Television Studies

BA (Single Honours) Television Production

When you study Television Production at Leeds Trinity, you'll get hands on practical experience in editing, camerawork, directing and presenting and develop which will allow you to work in television across a range of genres. Find out more about our degree in Television Production here.


Our courses in Film, Television and Media offer a unique insight into the social and cultural dimensions of the contemporary media industries. You will also gain a thorough grounding in current production techniques in our Television and Media courses.

Your programme of study will be put into a practical context through our Professional Work Placement scheme. During the first two years of your course, you’ll have the chance to spend up to 12 weeks working in a TV, Film or Media related organisation. The placements are a perfect way to gain practical skills, improve your CV and build up contacts in the industry.

All our staff are passionate about their subject: we have staff who bring a considerable level of practical experience and expertise to the courses within a strong academic context.
