Starting and Growing your own Business
Starting and Growing your own Business is a 7 week evening Masterclass designed specifically for people who are thinking about starting their own business or need help to develop their current one.
Section Summary
The course is delivered by successful entrepreneurs with current business start-up experience together with academic experts in all areas of business planning and development. The classes will cover ideas generation, marketing, business planning, financial management, the legal framework, business growth and much more. Click here for the 2013 programme.
Students will also take part in a Dragons’ Den-style business competition and compete for cash prizes, ongoing business support and the opportunity to represent the college and the Regional Enterprise Competition.
In 2013 Starting and Growing your own Business classes will be held at Leeds Trinity University College every Thursday from 6-8pm from Feb 7th to March 21st. A launch evening will take place on Thursday February 7th from 6-00pm.
For an assessment fee of £85 students may choose to submit a Business Plan for academic assessment. A pass mark will result in an award of 15 Masters level credits and will also provide automatic entry on to the MA in Business Management which may be taken on a full or part-time basis.

Starting and Growing your own business to students is organised within the Graduate Entrepreneurship programme. This programme supports and promotes Business Start up in Universities across Yorkshire and Humberside. The programme is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
