Leeds Trinity Centre for Journalism
Leeds Trinity's Centre for Journalism has a long-standing and enviable reputation for vocational training, industry-relevant studies and cutting edge academic research.
Our courses, at both post graduate and undergraduate level, have an excellent record in terms of getting students into employment.

Around 90% of the students who study our industry-accredited post graduate journalism courses typically achieve work in the news media shortly after completing their studies. Of the 15 broadcast journalists who graduated in December 2009, 13 have been employed in professional roles. Out of 14 print and magazine trainees, 12 found jobs in the media.

And the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) national Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Survey shows that despite the challenges of the economic climate, 93% of those graduating last year with a first degree from Leeds Trinity University College were either in work or further study within six months of completing their studies, meaning that along with Leeds College of Music, we have the highest employment rates in Yorkshire for our graduates.

Our staff come from a wide-range of professional journalistic backgrounds and use their skills and expertise to bring journalism to life both in the classroom and in the live news production exercises, programmes and publications which are at the heart of our teaching.
