In Year 1, in addition to studying Forensic Psychology, you will also study Psychological Research Methods, Psychology of Social Issues, Ethics, Society and Employability, Psychological Approaches to Personality and Intelligence. You will also undertake a Professional Placement and work in a group to do a Programme Level Assessment at the end of the year.
In Year 2, in addition to studying Forensic Psychology in Theory and Practice, you will also study Research Methods 2, the Psychology of Social Issues 2, Psychological Issues in Gender and Emotion, and Mind and Brain. You will also undertake a Professional Placement.
You will study Applied Forensic Psychology, and will undertake your Major Project. You will also have the opportunity to select three options from a range of optional modules such as Counselling, Forensic Practitioner, Business Psychology, Aspects of Health Psychology, Applying the Mind, Childhood and Society, Biopsychology of Stress and Health, Psychology, Mental Health and Distress and Psychology Special Subject extended essay.
