Media, Film and Culture

Subject Areas > Media, Film and Culture
The best thing about my course at Leeds Trinity is getting hands-on experience with professional equipment, as well as being taught by lecturers who all have years of industry experience. Hannah Gill, BA (Hons) Film Studies

There's never been a more exciting time to be studying in the areas of Media, Film and Culture, with the rise of citizen journalism, web-based networking, online radio, catch-up TV and open access archives such as YouTube.

You'll be taught by professional experts in film, television, radio and digital media and benefit from the Media Centre's industry-leading production spaces.

Experience is crucial for a career in media, film and culture, so you'll spend up to 12 weeks working in a TV, Film or Media-related organisation during your degree. We also have our own production company, Trinity Vision, which provides placement and employment opportunities for students. By the time you graduate, you'll have plenty of real life work experience in addition to your degree, giving you a head start when the time comes to compete for graduate jobs.

As a result, our students are highly satisfied and highly employable – could you be one of them?
