The Windmill Cluster is a group of six schools, which includes five Primary schools and a Junior School, all located within the city of Leeds.
The lead school is Windmill Primary which operates as part of Low Road and Windmill Music Federation. Our cluster covers a wide geographical area throughout Leeds which enables us to offer trainees diverse placements. The Windmill Cluster offers high-quality PGCE training through School Direct (unsalaried) across 3-7 and 5-11 age ranges, with experienced and dedicated mentors and tutors ready to guide and support you through your training.
Entry requirementsYou should be a graduate with a classification of 2:2 or above. You will need a grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English, Maths and Science and should also have at least two weeks experience in a state sector Primary School.

How we select our trainees
The Windmill Cluster jointly co-ordinates the recruitment process with the Leeds Trinity University. Recruitment days will include a group University interview, a cluster based interview and a task involving children at one of our cluster schools.
