Leeds Trinity University partners with secondary education schools in the Yorkshire and Humber region to provide our students with the very best school placements. Our secondary programme will prepare you to teach within the secondary age phase. 

Leeds Trinity's School Centred Initial Teacher Training (ITT​) PGCE study route leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Professional Certificate in Education (PCE) (Level 6) with the option of gaining a PGCE (Level 7).

Northern Lights SCITT

For 2017, Northern Lights SCITT is recruiting to both primary and secondary programmes with partner schools across North and West Yorkshire - an area that spans the Yorkshire Dales, Bradford and Harrogate. Leeds Trinity University delivers the masters elements of the Northern Lights programmes and validates the PGCE and masters qualifications.

Northern Lights SCITT students will:   

  • experience a wide diversity of educational settings
