Our Professional Apprenticeships are aimed at both new and existing employees, and combine part-time study at Leeds Trinity University with workplace training. Designed in collaboration with employers, Higher and Degree Apprenticeships are a cost-effective way to attract and retain talent, up-skill your workforce and increase productivity.

Higher level skills are vital to business performance and economic growth. Through Apprenticeships, you can fill your higher level skills gaps efficiently and effectively by tailoring the learning to your workplace. Apprenticeships can:

  • Help you to attract and retain higher calibre staff
  • Provide opportunities for existing staff to progress and
  • Develop a more motivated and committed workforce

Apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours which are crucial to the demands of their job role, meaning that they are able to meet the demands of your business whilst keeping your business up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology. 

Funding

Apprenticeship training is either paid for through a government subsidy (up to 90%) or covered by the Apprenticeship Levy which some employers now pay.
