This work-based learning Level 6 top up degree is designed to be undertaken on completion of a foundation degree, or other Level 5 qualification, in an area related to education. This programme is ideal preparation for those who may wish to progress towards a teaching qualification, or take on more responsibility in their educational setting; plus progression to academic postgraduate education.
You will have the opportunity to develop subject expertise, while engaging with current debate and professional practice. You will be introduced to new concepts and higher order skills such as synthesis and critical evaluation.
The course runs every Thursday 9-5 for full-time students and a half day (Thursday) for part-time students.

Successful completion of a foundation degree in a relevant area or equivalent Level 5 qualification. Other requirements: For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in English Language (or accepted L2 equivalent).
Tuition fees cost £9,000 a year for this course in 2016-17. Part-time tuition fees would be pro-rated accordingly tothe number of credits you're studying. These fees will be fixed for the duration of the degree course and not have to be paid upfront. Find out more
