Results Day is an exciting day, and one we're sure you're eagerly awaiting. It's the culmination of years of hard work, as well as the start of your university journey.

We know that this can be a stressful time, and whether you're expecting fantastic results, or preparing for Clearing, it's important that you keep your cool.

Here are our tips for preparing for Results Day:

Check your times

If you know your timings for Results Day, it gives you one less thing to worry about. UCAS Track will update at around 8am, but you'll need to collect your grades in person to find out how you've done. Check with your school or college to find out what time you can go in to collect your results.

Know your options

Whether you've got into your first choice university, you're changing your decision through Adjustment, or securing a place through Clearing, there are options open to you. By preparing in advance, you'll be ready for Results Day regardless of the outcome.

Keep busy

There's nothing worse than thinking about your results while you wait for Results Day. That's why it's important that you keep busy. Go out, see your friends, and make sure that you distract yourself in the build up to Results Day.

Don't worry

There's no point having sleepless nights over something you can't change, so just follow our tips and prepare as best you can. Even if your initial university plans don't go the way you originally thought, everything will work out in the end.
