Our Approach
The provision of car parking is an integral element of our integrated Travel Plan . The College will, insofar as resources permit, provide car parking spaces for staff, students and visitors.
Availability
There is considerably more demand on College car parking space than there are spaces available. The College has, therefore, introduced a system of controls by which it will manage the use of car parking. Parking is available at several locations on the campus:
- North Car Park
- East Car Park
- West Car Park
- South Car Park
- Off-campus car parking is available at Horsforth Cricket Club
- Again from September 2011 parking available at Yarnbury RFC using a car badge system. Rates are £25 per term or £50 for year. Parking available Monday - Friday 8am -5.30pm. Please note that this is not a scheme run by the college and all enquiries must be directed to the club. Application forms can be downloaded here.
Please note: When parking off campus can you please do so with consideration for the local residents. Please remember that campus car parks can be used evenings and weekends free of charge.

Reserved Areas
Permit holders will have access to all parking spaces with the exception of those that are reserved. There will be no parking except in individually marked parking bays. When parking off-campus drivers are expected to park carefully and with thought for the needs of local residents.
The Police have particularly requested that, in order to prevent obstruction of Lee Lane West to the rear of the College, drivers should park only on the South (field) side of the road and leave clear the North (footpath) side.
Vehicles, which are parked on Brownberrie Lane outside the College, are liable to be issued with a fixed penalty fine by the Police.
Car Parking for Students and Staff
Students parking on campus between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm must use the pay and display facilities. Students and staff can park on campus between 4.30pm and 8.30am free of charge.
Staff may use the pay and display facilities or purchase an annual permit. Permits can be purchased from the Hospitality Services office (Walsingham Building). An application form may be obtained from the Hospitality Services Office, Reception, or may be downloaded here
Please inform the Hospitality Services Administrator of any changes to registration details on telephone 0113 2837100 ext 406 or email: j.woods@leedstrinity.ac.uk.
Charges
The annual charges for car parking are displayed on the application form.
Car parking permits are valid for one year from 26th September. There are several methods of payment and details are provided on the application form.
CO2 Emissions Discount
There are discounts available for staff cars with lower CO2 emissions. See the application form for details.
Please note that permits do not guarantee a parking space on campus unless a space has been specifically reserved. Permit holders agree to abide by the terms and conditions as detailed in the College Car Parking Policy. Copies are available from Reception.
Permit holders are responsible for clearly displaying their permits on the vehicle windscreen. Failure to do so will result in the issue of a Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
Disabled Parking
The College has established designated disabled parking spaces close to the main College buildings. Particular attention will be paid to controlling these spaces for disabled users. Vehicles using these spaces park free of charge but must clearly display their registered disabled parking permit.
