In order to encourage students and staff to use alternative means of transport, the College has provided excellent facilities for bicycle users.

The facilites include:

• Covered parking facility for 20 bicycles and 5 motor bikes. This is accessed via the Westgate entrance.

• CCTV camera coverage monitors this facility.

• Cycling Maps available from the Sports Office

• Free use of the changing room facilities at the rear of the Students' Union and in the Sports Centre including:
  • Showers
  • Lockers
  • Drinking water
  • Toilets

Secure Cycle Lockers

We are introducing 12 new secure cycle locker facilities for AY 09/10. These are situated at the rear of the Mary Hallaway Lecture Theatre near to the entrance to the Sports Centre. They are available to lease by both staff and students for a minimum of 3 months at a time. They cost nothing to use – however a £30 deposit is required – returnable at the end of the agreed term providing the interior of the locker is in good condition.

 Applications are on a first come first served basis and forms (containing full terms and conditions) can be printed off from here or collected from the Sports Office. If we receive more applications than we have locker space, they will be placed on a waiting list and be offered first refusal should a locker become available.

 Every locker comes with a free High Visibility vest for greater safety

Secure Bicycle Storage Area 

We have a secure bike store as part of the All Saints Court residential complex. If you are an All Saints Court resident you will have automatic access to this store (via your id/access card). If you are not a resident and wish to store your bicycle there, please contact Karl Baxter on k.baxter@leedstrinity.ac.uk or on 01132837194 and (space permitting) the access will be added on to your ID/Access card.

 Student Bicycle Hire Scheme

 New for AY 10/11! We are trialling a bicycle hire scheme for students in association with the Velocampus project. The cost is £50 per year (plus a returnable £100 deposit) and also includes access to the secure Bike Storage area in All Saints Court. Please see the Sports Office for full details of the scheme.
