Questions and Answers

  • How much does it cost to study at Leeds Trinity?
You don't pay for your education while you are a student - your fees of £8,000 per year are covered by government loans (along with non-repayable grants, scholarships, and bursaries, depending on your circumstances).

  • How much will I need to pay back?
Repayments don’t start until after you have graduated and are earning £21,000 per year – and even then, payments are as little as £15 per month. The amount you repay will increase as your salary increases. A payment calculator is available to help you estimate your initial repayments based on average starting salaries for various careers.

  • Where can I find more information about fees and finance at Leeds Trinity?
Our 2012 Tuition Fees and Financial Support web page is a good place to start, and if you still have questions, the Student Finance web page offer lots more links, information, and contact details if you want to speak to someone in person.

Some facts about student finance

  • Graduates earn an estimated £100,000 more than non-graduates over their working lifetime
  • An increasing number of careers and professions require a degree for entry
  • University isn't just about your qualification - you also develop life skills, maturity, and confidence
  • You will experience a rich cultural and social scene, and make friends and contacts you'll take through the rest of your life

When you consider all of this, what you should ask yourself is "Can I afford NOT to go to University?"
