Could you briefly explain your working day after graduating?
After graduating, my current role required me to contact individuals and find out whether they would be interested in joining a new business and if so, trying to place them in that new business.
How did studying at Leeds Trinity help you reach your current position?
Studying at Leeds Trinity enabled me to develop research skills and it also helped me to mature as an individual. I gained a lot through work experience.
Where did you do your work placements? How did you benefit?
For one of my placements, I worked at a charity called Hft, working with mentally disabled adults and taking them on social trips. I worked with an Advocacy for Mental Health and Dementia organisation in my second year, and produced a document that demonstrated what the clients liked about the advocacy and how they could improve.
What did you enjoy most about being a student at Leeds Trinity?
My tutors were very personable and I enjoyed my research into the Psychology of criminals; how they think and behave. It was all very interesting and the lecturers really helped me make it more interesting.
Were you involved in any extra-curricular activities?
I was the Basketball Chairman and also part of the Cheerleading team. I have continued cheerleading outside of work and now compete at a national and international level.
Any other comments about what it was like to be a student at Leeds Trinity?Being a student at Leeds Trinity was the best experience of my life. I would do it again if I could. I loved being part of the University and making all the friends I did.
