"Although I was apprehensive about attending a small university, I found that a close knit community was brilliant, and built up a larger group of friends as a result. I particularly enjoyed all of the practical elements, particularly the television based modules.
"Meeting people with a similar passion for sport was also fantastic, and all the lecturers were very approachable and keen to help when I asked them. After finishing my degree I had the idea to set up my own business.
"When I realised how much I enjoyed editing television pieces, I wanted to capitalise on my skills, so I researched how much bands were being charged for music videos.
"I found out that prices were huge, so I offered lower prices to unsigned bands. I then set up Solan Productions which aims to offer the best possible results at the lowest available costs."
